03/01:-KQV is announcing the termination of the leases on N6772/3/4VF. Our fleet now carries only 1 grand caravan.
FEBRUARY 2008
2/26:-Due to current controlled expansion, KQV is announcing the new lease of a Boeing 747-400 reg. N7576VF. At this point it will be plying the HKMO-EGLL-HKMO route until further demand mandates the opening of more routes
2/20:-KQVA is pleased to announce the enrollment of our newest pilot Akshay S. (KQ008). Welcome aboard Akshay.
2/13:-KQVA is announcing a pay increase for all ranks with the exception of Grand Caravan 1st Officer. Grand Caravan captains have received $.25 raise and every rank above that getting a raise $.25 more than the previous. i.e Grand Caravan Capt=.25 raise,RJ Junior Off raise = .25+.25=.50 raise, RJ 1st Off = .50+.25=.75 raise.
As announced earlier as we achieve higher profit, we will make sure our crew is taken care of. Also the next months pay raises will be implemented top down. i.e the pilot at the bottom will get the biggest raise. It will be on an alternating basis henceforth.
2/12:-KQVA is proud to introduce our newest pilots Ravinder(KQ006) and William (KQ007). Welcome aboard. As a result we have leased an additional 3 grand caravans (N6772VF,N6773VF,N6774VF) to get our new pilots into jets ASAP.
-KQVA has leased an Airbus A340-500 reg.N6376VF to serve our long haul routes. This is the first of what will be a well established long range network.
As a result, we now have new destinations to Europe (London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam) and Asia (Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong). Destinations page has all the details.
2/03:-KQVA has just purchased our first aircraft. We now own 1 Cessna Grand Caravan reg. 5Y-ECD that is based out of HKJK.

1/31:-Reminder to pilots that you don't have to be on gamespy in session to make a VA flight. So feel free to fly at any time at your convenience. However, we will try to have sessions up as often as possible. Remeber after all this is a hobby and a virtual airline!
